Luxury Portable Restroom Spotlight – Master Bath Trailer

At Kerkstra we offer six different luxury restroom trailers ranging from 3-stall to 10-stall options. This month we’d like to spotlight one of our most popular rentals – the Master Bath 3 Stall Shower Trailer.

Details

The Master Bath luxury restroom trailer has three stalls that each include a toilet, sink, and full-sized shower – offering all of the amenities of your home master bathroom. The toilets flush and the sinks and showers both offer hot/cold running water. Above the sink is a large mirror as well as a reasonably sized countertop to allow for easy getting ready after a shower. Additionally the unit is air conditioned for comfortable use in the summer months.

Uses

As you might imagine, this Master Bath trailer is a great substitute for your regular master bathroom during a bathroom remodel or whole home renovation. It can allow you to keep your family or tenants comfortable during the construction period.

In addition to home use, the Master Bath trailer is also the perfect choice for an event where attendees will want to get clean because of the showers included in each stall. This makes it a top choice for camping, weekend long festivals, and athletic competitions, just to name a few! Have an event that you think would benefit from providing attendees with a shower trailer? Contact us for more information!

How Do Portable Restrooms Work?

People don’t know much about portable toilets other than that they can rent them for outdoor events, so we’re going to tell you more about how portable restrooms work. Here’s the information that you need about portable bathrooms from the leading portable restroom service in Michigan:

Before The Event

Once you give us a call to reserve a portable bathroom, you will be scheduled for a particular date and time and given any necessary information to ensure that your event will go off without a hitch. Prior to your event the portable toilet or restroom trailer that you’re renting will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your event. The waste tank will be pumped out, the entire interior will be cleaned and wiped down, new sanitary fluid (the blue liquid) will be added to the tank, and the supplies inside will be restocked (hand sanitizer, paper towels, etc.).

During The Event

The portable toilet or luxury restroom trailer that you reserved will be delivered to your location in good condition and ready to go! Luxury restroom trailers can also include high-style details like hanging artwork, rugs, faux flowers or plants, which will also be arranged with care to complete the appearance of your rented unit. Everything will be ready for your guests to have a good experience using the portable bathroom that you’ve rented. If you’ve also rented standalone hand washing stations, those will be set up as well.

If your event is a weekend or week-long event, arrangements will be made to have your rented units pumped out during the event to keep them operational and clean. This will maintain a positive experience for attendees throughout the duration of your big event!

After The Event

Once your rental period is over, the unit (or units) will be picked up and then the process will start all over again with thoroughly emptying and cleaning them for use at another event. This is why we’re the leading portable toilet supplier in West Michigan!

Will My Wedding Guests Want to Use Portable Restrooms?

We could answer this question very simply with a definitive “Yes!” But don’t take our word for it, decide for yourself!
There are multiple options when it comes to wedding restrooms, so we’ll break down your choices. We won’t bore you with all of the specifics because if you’re planning a wedding, you probably have more important things to worry about (like bridesmaid dresses and centerpieces), but here’s the general overview to help you make a decision about which types of bathrooms you’ll need for your wedding:

Portable Toilets

Regular portable toilets (also called porta potties, porta johns, and porta janes) are the typical portable bathrooms that you have seen outdoors everywhere from public parks to summer carnivals to construction sites. These tend to be pretty average as far as portable bathrooms go. They usually house a toilet, urinal, and hand sanitizer dispenser. More decked out versions (like our Elite units) may actually have flushing toilets, a small sink with hand soap, a tiny mirror and shelves for personal belongings. From the outside these units tend to have that easily recognizable porta potty look and typically appear in colors like blue, green or orange.

These toilets can be used for everywhere from farms to construction zones to community events and everyplace in between! Typically for a wedding, you will want to choose one or more Elite units to offer guests a place to set their belongings (like purses, scarves, drinks, etc.) and more room to move around in bulkier attire (like suits, tuxes, long dresses, etc).

Restroom Trailers

Luxury restroom trailers are mobile trailers that are typically white or silver and resemble storage trailers. These trailers are basically high-end bathrooms on wheels. If someone blindfolded you and took you inside and then pulled off the blindfold you might think you were in a hotel or fancy restaurant. Luxury portable restrooms boast elegant décor like wooden cabinetry, hanging artwork, decorative rugs, and large mirrors. And their functionality is equally impressive as well! They include climate controlled and lit interiors, hot and cold running water, and flushable toilets for an experience that will make you forget you’re using a portable bathroom.

These toilets are typically used for outdoor weddings, black-tie occasions, private functions, fundraisers, concerts, and other special events. They are a great choice for weddings because they offer all of the modern conveniences of having an indoor wedding while still allowing your guests to enjoy the great outdoors.

Custom Combination

Using a combination of portable toilets and portable restroom trailers is a good way to provide tiered experiences for guests in many different situations. At a wedding you may want to rent portable toilets for your guests and then have a restroom trailer that is specifically for use by the wedding party so that they have somewhere to get ready before the event and freshen up for pictures. This is a good way to ensure that no one in the wedding party will end up having to wait in line and miss out on key wedding experiences like photo opportunities, celebratory toasts, first dances, throwing the bouquet, etc. Brides in particular enjoy having a private restroom trailer to use because going to the bathroom can be quite an ordeal in a wedding dress, requiring assistance from bridesmaids or the mother-of-the-bride.

Tailgating 101: Gearing Up for Football Season

Football season has finally arrived and that means that the fan-favorite pastime of tailgating is back in full swing. But before you get out your throwback jersey and start stocking up on the brats, make sure to read through this guide so that your tailgate can really stand out this year! Here are the top 4 characteristics of the best tailgates across the nation:

Everyone’s Favorite Food and Drinks

Tailgating food menus include some of the best recipes known to mankind (namely because they involve copious amounts of meat and cheese). Excellent tailgates will have not only large amounts of food, but also a variety of food choices to delight your buddies. Seasonal craft beers are always a good choice for fall games, but be sure to avoid ones that are too dark or heavy because they can fill you up before you’re able to sample some of each dish.

Hot comfort foods are ideal tailgating recipes – just be careful that any raw or perishable ingredients are kept at safe temperatures up until cooking. Stay away from dishes that contain mayonnaise or other ingredients that can spoil if left out all day, as your guests will likely graze in the hours leading up to and during the game. Staples like hotdogs, hamburgers, wings, and chili are sure to keep people happy but don’t forget the side dishes to round out your excellent tailgating meal. What you’re eating will affect the way your drinks taste, so keep that in mind as you make your beverage selection.

And if you’re going to be tailgating from the early morning hours onward, be sure to include some breakfast items in your menu because chances are people aren’t going to be ready for baked beans shortly after sunrise. Juice is a good breakfast drink for all ages, and it also serves as a great mixer later on in the day for the adults.

Restrooms Close By

Having a bathroom nearby is absolutely essential when tailgating all day (especially if you have kids with you). While you can’t really control that at a designated public tailgating lot outside of the stadium, you can definitely be sure to have plenty of bathrooms at a private facility. Hiring a portable toilet supplier to bring porta johns or luxury restroom trailers to your tailgate is a way to ensure that everyone will have a good time without the hassle of having to walk a ways to use the restroom and wait in line for a long time. Trust us, your guests will thank you… not to mention be beating down your door for an invite to your next tailgating party! (In fact, paid tailgating venues and lots often utilize these types of restroom solutions because they find that providing exclusive access to their bathrooms is a great selling point for fans that are looking for a hassle-free tailgating experience.)

Screens and Seats for Viewing

If you’re going to the game then you may not need as nice of a setup as the people who are tailgating and then watching the game from their tailgate, but it’s still nice to be able to watch the pre-game hype from your party. Also, it’s great to be able to catch the other games that are on before your game so that you can keep up with your fantasy league or conference results. Be sure to have at least one screen that’s big enough for multiple people to watch and a comfortable seating area (whether in lawn chairs or on blankets on the ground). This gives people something to do while they wait on food and enjoy their beverages. Having a viewing areas is even more important when you’re pressed for space because you probably won’t have room to play any tailgating games or throw around a football.

The Right Clothing

Wearing the right clothing is essential for staying comfortable during your tailgate. In the southern US fans need to stay cool and well ventilated, but up here in Michigan, dressing to stay warm and dry is key. It’s always important to have a wind resistant top layer to keep your core warm throughout the changing temperatures of the day.

Obviously you’ll want to sport your favorite team apparel, but be sure to wear layers so that you can adjust your wardrobe as the weather calls for – there’s nothing worse than getting cold and not being able to warm up to enjoy watching the game. Warm hats and gloves should always be brought along just in case the temperatures take an unexpected dip because you don’t want to have to leave and go buy these things from souvenir stands or local stores during your tailgate.

What is a Luxury Mobile Restroom?

If you’ve never experienced luxury restroom trailers, you probably don’t think portable bathrooms can be that lavish. However, we’re here to tell you that luxury portable restrooms really do exist and they’re actually affordable enough to rent for your next event! We’ll go over what makes these luxury restrooms so outstanding and provide some examples of their most common uses to give you a better idea of what we’re talking about:

Features

At the heart of it, all portable toilets are functional nature but I think we can all agree that just because two things accomplish the same function doesn’t mean that they’re going to be viewed the same way. For instance, an axe and a chainsaw can both cut down a tree, but that doesn’t mean that they’re interchangeable. In the same way, a portable restroom trailer provides a place for people to go to the bathroom just like a no-frills porta potty, but sometimes you want a little more oomph!
Luxury portable toilet trailers are well-appointed, offering the following high-end restroom amenities:

  • Flushing toilets
  • Lighting
  • Climate controlled environment
  • Hot/cold running water
  • Decorative finishes such as artwork, rugs and faux flowers
  • Elegant furnishings like wooden cabinetry an large mirrors
  • Higher capacity with the same privacy of individual stalls

So when are these luxury restrooms most desirable? Read on to find out about their most common uses!

Uses

Bathroom trailers can be used in any situation when a regular portable toilet would be needed, but they are most common for weddings and other elegant events, as well as events where a premium “VIP-type” experience is desired. These trailers can be used instead of traditional porta potties or alongside them. For instance, at the finish line of the Gazelle Girls half marathon in downtown Grand Rapids we provided a long line of porta johns for the spectators as well as a luxury restroom trailer for the elite runners to use while preparing for the race. Typically, luxury portable toilets are in the highest demand for the following types of events:

  • Weddings
  • Outdoor concerts
  • Fundraisers
  • Festivals
  • Private parties and other functions

This is by no means an all-inclusive list though, as our restroom trailers have also made appearances at other types of events like motorcycle gatherings and local church functions. Give us a call at 888-320-9992 if you’re looking for something truly extraordinary for your next event!
